"Plants on the Windowsill"

This painting is of the plants in our living room window on an overcast day. I just love houseplants – and plants of all kinds, really – and, so, we have many adorning our windowsills and bookshelves. The diffuse light coming in the window was a pleasant contrast to the interior shadows and plant shapes.

The original painting was done in gouache on watercolour paper.


PAPER / SIZE DETAILS:
This listing is for a high-quality giclée print on archival paper. The inks are Epson professional-grade pigment-based inks. Prints are on natural white 100% cotton rag paper with a very lightly textured finish. The paper is made in the US by Moab and is acid-free, lignin-free and OBA-free, meaning the prints can provide decades of joy without discolouring or fading. It is always best to hang them behind glass and out of direct sunlight.
